The minimum power a run needs so bad luck still feels playable.
A build floor is the baseline strength a game tries to preserve even when rewards are awkward. It can come from starting kits, guaranteed shops, pity systems, flexible upgrades, or enemy tuning.
Example
Hades weapon movesets give every run a viable base, while Slay the Spire offers card removals, shops, and potions to recover from poor draft luck.
Why it matters
Build floors matter because randomness is only fun when the bottom does not fall out too often.
