The horde-survival inversion where the player becomes the bullet pattern.
Bullet heaven games flood the screen with enemies while the player stacks automatic attacks into an expanding storm. They often use simple movement, timed waves, and upgrade drafts instead of direct aiming.
Example
Vampire Survivors, Brotato, Halls of Torment, and 20 Minutes Till Dawn all sit around the bullet heaven and survivors-like space.
Why it matters
Bullet heaven matters because it shows how little input a game needs when upgrade pacing, enemy pressure, and audiovisual escalation are tuned well.
