Nintendo finally pulled Dark Moon's ghost-hunting mansion crawl onto Switch and cleaned it up for a much larger audience.
Luigi's Mansion 2 HD remasters the 3DS game for Switch with sharper presentation and the simple but crucial benefit of putting a strong Luigi adventure onto current hardware. The mission structure is more segmented than Luigi's Mansion 3, but the ghost-catching loop still has plenty of personality and pace.
Example
Its arrival on Switch helps complete the Luigi side of the modern Mario catalog instead of leaving a major handheld chapter stranded behind aging hardware.
Why it matters
It matters because Nintendo is now treating Luigi's Mansion as active evergreen franchise material, not a one-generation detour.
