Playtester feedback loops are the iterative cycle of putting your game in front of real people, watching them play, collecting their reactions, and using that data to improve the design. The key insight is that you cannot playtest your own game -- you know too much. What feels obvious to you is invisible to a fresh player. The best feedback comes from watching silently as someone plays without guidance, noting every moment of confusion, frustration, or delight. Then you iterate and test again. Some devs use structured surveys, others just stream playtests on Discord. The feedback loop gets tighter and more valuable the more frequently you run it.
