Thank Goodness You're Here! by Coal Supper is a comedy game that actually commits to being funny, which is rarer than it should be. Set in the fictional Yorkshire town of Barnsworth, you play a tiny salesman slapping your way through increasingly absurd situations. The humor is deeply, unapologetically British, channeling Monty Python, Vic and Bob, and the grotesque surrealism of magazine cartoonists. Every screen has a sight gag or absurd interaction. The animation is hand-drawn and wildly expressive, selling physical comedy better than almost any game before it.
